Recurring Events
Book Club: The
Kathwood women’s book club meets every last Tuesday of the month
at 6:30. This is a time of learning and fellowship. Everyone
welcome!
Family Ministry
Week: Every July, our church body gathers together for a week of
worship, Bible study, and mission outreach in our community. Last year’s mission projects included Hannah House, Sistercare,
St. Lawrence Place, Homeworks, Lexington/Richland Board of
Disabilities, Family Shelter, area nursing homes, and
Samaritan’s Purse.
No Parents
Allowed: About four times a year, the church offers a night full
of Bible study, food and play for children ages 3-11. No
parents allowed!
Fall
Festival/Spring Fling: Each Fall and Spring, Kathwood Church and
Kathwood Preschool combine efforts to host a time of family
fun. Our Fall Festival includes hayrides, face painting, games,
and food. The Spring Fling hosts a silent auction and other fun
family activities.
