Kathwood Weekday Preschool

Kathwood Baptist Church Preschool is a traditional weekday preschool program.  Our goal is to provide a positive, healthy, creative learning, and nurturing Christian environment for 8 week through 4 year old children.

Kathwood PreschoolKathwood Baptist Church Preschool offers integrated experiences in art, science, language arts, math, and music that are developmentally age appropriate.  The school maintains a good balance of active and quiet play, indoor and outdoor activities, formal and informal learning experiences, individual and group activities.

Kathwood is a traditional preschool program with several enrollment options for various age groups.  The preschool program is scheduled each weekday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  We offer 2 days, 3 days and 5 days for preschool. 
Extended care is available to enrolled children in the toddler – 4 year old classes.
The times are 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM Space is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. 
24 hour advance sign-up is required.
All children 3 and under will nap. 
The school also offers a full-time program each weekday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This program is designed for children of full time working parents.  Kathwood Preschool operated on a 9 month school year from September to May with a Summer Fun program during June, July, and August.
Kathwood follows Richland School District One for holidays and closings. In addition, the school is closed for transition at the beginning and end of the summer program. 

Kathwood Preschool is licensed by S.C. D.S.S. and is routinely inspected and approved by D.H.E.C. and the S.C. Fire Marshall. Our Staff is C.P.R. and First Aid certified. S.C. D.S.S. License # 21547
