Rev. Mark Tidsworth joins the Kathwood Baptist Church Staff as Interim Pastor and Consultant beginning January 3, 2010. Mark has served as an interim pastor before, as well as an interim consultant. Now Kathwood and Mark are combining these two roles into Interim Pastor and Consultant.
In his role as Interim Pastor, Mark will:
- Lead worship
- Facilitate Wednesday Evening Program and Bible Study
- Be on campus at Kathwood on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons
- Facilitate the weekly staff meeting
- Coordinate pastoral care -Coordinate connections with visitors
In Mark's role as Interim Consultant, he will:
- Work with and lead the Kathwood Transtion Team
- Coordinate Kathwood's movement throught the Developmental Tasks of Interim congregations
- Help ready Kathwood for its next stage of life and ministry
Mark looks forward to knowing the Kathwood congregation and moving forward in life and ministry together.
