The Chancel
Choir at Kathwood performs a wide repertoire each year.
Sacred anthems, hymn
arrangements, and works by American composers and arrangers
are also used in worship. Works by Bach, Mozart,
Mendelssohn, and others as well as traditional church music
composers and contemporary "art" music composers are often a part of worship. Our church music ministry provides
opportunities for the congregation to enjoy the music of
brass and string ensembles, the harp, and other fine guest
musicians. Soloists and ensembles from within the choir are
also able to provide special music for worship.
The Chancel
Choir rehearses at 7:15pm each Wednesday evening
and is open to all adults and older youth.
